The Mandarins are excited to announce our Drum Major Team for the 2020 season!
Marcus Holifield-Helm returns for his fourth season as a Drum Major with the Mandarins. Currently, Marcus attends Sacramento State, pursuing a degree in Music Education and Music Performance playing the euphonium.
Matthew Frierson, better known as Matty was our Field Assistant during the 2019 season and is excited to return as a Drum Major.
Carson Kimber will experience his first season as a Drum Major as well as his first season of drum corps overall. Currently a Clovis North High School senior, Carson will pursue a music degree in college.
Brendan Lockie has been a drum major at Rancho Bernardo High School for the past three years and looks forward to his first as a Mandarins Drum Major. He will major in Music Education in college.
Justin Nguyen joins the Mandarins for his first year and will serve as Field Assistant this season. He attends Sacramento State, working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.
