Emi is from Yokohama, Japan. She has over ten years of experience in the activity with an extensive background in the marching arts. She began her performing career as a Color Guard performer in Kamakura Women's University Junior & Senior High School. After graduating she went on to march with YOKOHAMA ROBINS from 2011-2015, and The Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps in 2013. As an instructor, she has worked with Kamakura Women's University Junior & Senior High School, Nagoya Women's University Junior & Senior High School, Sakae Junior & Senior High School, YOKOHAMA ROBINS, and more throughout Japan. She joined the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps colorguard staff in 2024 and is thrilled to return in 2025 on the visual staff as a movement specialist.
