About the event

Learn more about the Mandarins Experience with our Summer Leadership Camp, a 3-day intensive with Mandarins Staff focused on leadership, communication, and performance. Featuring breakout seminars with our world-class staff and a sneak peek of the Mandarins production during Spring Training!
Our program provides students with the tools, tips, and techniques to become effective leaders once they return to their bands. We accomplish this through demonstration and experiential learning in small group settings. The intent is that students will be equipped to effectively support their band director’s vision and goals. All students will have the opportunity to work with different educators and clinicians throughout the week.
his is a three-day camp with optional overnight housing available.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
GROUP PRICING: For groups of 5+ students from the same school, or for invoice inquiries, please reach out to leadershipcamp@mandarins.org
$250 for overnight group tickets and $150 for day camper group tickets
RELEASE FORM: Please bring a completed release form with you to the event. You will not be able to participate in the event without a this form. If under 18, the form must be signed by your parent or guardian.
REFUND POLICY: Because we work with many instructors, venues, t-shirt vendors, and caterers, it is important that we have an accurate headcount well in advance of the event. For this reason, we are unable to offer any refunds within 30 days of the event. Thank you for understanding. PACKING LIST:
Change of clothes for 2 days, sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow, toiletries, towel, shower shoes/slippers.
Plastic drinking cup for meals.
Items to keep you busy during downtime.
1-gallon water jug.
Music scores if you have them for score study and leadership application-based activities.
Layered clothing for outdoor weather that can fluctuate from early morning to late evening.
Notepad and pencils.

How can I pay to register my student(s)?
You can pay by card through our online registration form or by sending a check:
1. Write a check payable to "Sacramento Mandarins"
2. On the memo line of the check, indicate "Leadership Camp - YOUR SCHOOL NAME.
3. Mail your check to: Mandarins of Sacramento Inc. P.O. Box 22297 Sacramento CA 95822
If your band booster program is paying for your students and need an invoice, please contact leadershipcamp@mandarins.org.
If I have a group of students attending, can the group be a mix of day campers and overnight campers?
