Our competitive season runs from May through August. After spring training, the corps travels nationwide, performing in more than 20 cities and culminating at the DCI World Championships in Indianapolis.

Tuition covers housing, meals, transportation, instruction, uniforms, equipment, and tour expenses.

Additional costs may include audition fees, personal gear, laundry, and a few meals.

Yes! The Mandarins provide scholarships and help members with fundraising tools (like sponsorships, Fan-Pledge campaigns, and alumni/parent networks).

Parents can also support fundraising through programs like Dress the Dragon (uniform sponsorship) and Feed the Dragon (meal sponsorship).

The corps travels with a trained Health and Wellness team.

Parents will be contacted if any medical issue arises.

Members should bring their own insurance cards and notify staff of any pre-existing conditions.

The Mandarins food team provides four healthy meals a day during rehearsals and on tour. Meals are designed to fuel athletes in the marching arts, with accommodations available for common dietary needs.

We also use a pre-training fitness program, Forte Athletics, to ensure our members are physically ready at the beginning of the season, to help prevent injuries.

The Mandarins enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, hazing, or misconduct. Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
