What is the Mandarins Parade Corps?

The Mandarins Parade Corps is a youth performance program designed to give young performers the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, make new friends, and experience performing as part of Mandarins Performing Arts.The Parade Corps features percussion, color guard, brass, and woodwind performers and is designed for all experience levels. Whether you are an experienced musician or performer or are trying something completely new, there is a place for you!

Anytime! New members are welcome to join throughout the season.Whether you join us at the beginning of the year or later in the season, our staff will help you get started and learn everything you need to participate.

The program fee is $250, paid as a one-time payment upon registration.

Rehearsals are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

No problem! No previous experience is necessary.Our staff will teach you everything you need to know, starting with the fundamentals. The Parade Corps is a great opportunity to try something new, learn a new craft, and grow as a performer.

What if I already play a woodwind or brass instrument?

You’re welcome to join!Woodwind and brass musicians are encouraged to participate, and there will be opportunities for you to perform as part of the Parade Corps.

No! Instruments and equipment are provided by the Mandarins.

Absolutely!Parent and family volunteers are an important part of the Mandarins community, and we would love to have you involved. There will be a variety of opportunities to help support rehearsals, performances, events, and our performers throughout the season.
