Are you familiar with the š’š”š¢š© šØšŸ š“š”šžš¬šžš®š¬? This thought experiment asks you to imagine a ship that heroically sails the seas. Over time, its planks of wood rot, and are replaced with new planks.

When no original plank remains, is it still the Ship of Theseus?

Immortal Winds' 2026 program is an exploration of identity through time. We are all constantly changing. Our cells die and are replaced anew. Our preferences and personalities shift with the years. We are as much ourselves as we have always been, and yet, we have only small elements in common with the many versions of us who have lived through the years.

With music from Lars Seniuk and the New German Art Orchestra, Darcey James Argue, Simon Dobson, and Paul Lovatt-Cooper, Immortal Winds is proud to share a thoughtful and evocative program with audiences across Northern California.

FascinatingĀ take by Immortal WindsĀ on identityĀ and change through the Ship of TheseusĀ thought experiment. It really makes you reflect on what stays constant in us. Speaking of spotting differences, I’ve been playing That’s Not My NeighborĀ lately — its clever identification gameplay is surprisingly addictive.

One of the reasons for the game's success is its easy-to-understand rules. New players can learn the basics within a few minutes. The controls are simple, requiring only dragging and dropping blocks into position. Despite this simplicity, the game becomes increasingly challenging as the board fills up. Players must think ahead and manage space efficiently to avoid running out of room. This Block Blast Free balance between simplicity and challenge keeps players engaged for long periods.

Whether presented as a live concert, theatrical experience, or multimedia showcase, the production title alone creates Among Us anticipation for something visually and emotionally grand.
