Aaron Christianson is an award-winning Scenic Designer in the Chicago/Milwaukee area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Entertainment Technology from Michigan Technological University with minors in Music Technology and Sculpture, and will soon complete a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design through the University of Idaho. He is the current Technical Director at The Prairie School in Windpoint, WI where he teaches Technical Theatre to grades 7-12.
He marched trumpet with both the Raiders and Sacramento Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps, and played Tenors with Fair Lawn Indoor Percussion. Aaron was a Bluecoats Fellow in 2025 studying Scenic Design with Michael Raiford, and was an audio intern with the Bluecoats in 2018. He also designs shows and sets for Fair Lawn High School Indoor Percussion, which compete in the Scholastic World division of WGI.
