Beth Crandall is thrilled to continue working with Immortal Winds for her second season. A native of New Jersey, Beth is currently the choir director at Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, California. Despite her day job, she has fifteen years of experience teaching and performing in the band world. Career highlights include Band Director at Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova, Visual/Music Technician for the Cordova High School Big Red Music Machine, and Field Technician for the BOA semifinalist Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band (NJ).
Performance highlights include Fusion Core (DCA, baritone, 2016), RC Swing Jazz Band (music director, 2018-2021), Rutgers Marching Scarlet Knights (saxophone, 2014) and the NJ Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble (woodwinds, 2013-2015). Beth is committed to providing all of her students with a thorough education while emphasizing fundamental skills, self-reflection, and personal excellence. She is excited to be taking on the role of Assistant Director this season, as well as continuing to teach the woodwind section.
