Samantha "Sammy" Bothwell has a diverse background in the marching arts as both a performer and educator, and is excited to start this new journey with the Mandarins!
Sammy's performance history includes Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, Gold Winterguard, Pacific Crest, Carolina Crown, and Vox Artium World. She was also a visual ensemble member of RCC indoor percussion in 2025.
Originally from San Diego, CA, Sammy has worked with many high schools in the San Diego area. Since moving to Orange County, she has become a color guard technician at Los Alamitos High School. Last summer Sammy kicked off her drum corps teaching career as a technician at Gold Drum and Bugle Corps.
Outside of teaching, Sammy continues to pursue her passion for dance and the performing arts in any way she can. She is excited to bring that passion to the Mandarins and is looking forward to another rewarding season!
