Sarah Abdulal is an educator, designer, and mentor with more than 20 years of experience in the marching arts. Based in San Diego, California, she works with numerous programs including Mira Mesa High School, Rancho Bernardo High School, Westview High School, and many others. An active member of the WGASC circuit, Sarah is working as the VP of Color Guard and was inducted into the WGASC Hall of Fame at age thirty-four.
As the Director of Color Guard Programs for Vox Artium Foundation, Inc., Sarah continues to advance her commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of performers and educators. She hosts and organizes clinics throughout the region, creating opportunities for individuals to learn, connect, and contribute to a stronger color guard community.
Sarah’s teaching philosophy combines technical excellence with confidence, creativity, artistry, and personal growth. She is passionate about creating an environment where performers feel challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. She is excited to bring her experience and dedication to the Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps.
