The Mandarins’ new indoor ensemble, Immortal Winds consists of brass and woodwind instrumentalists. The entire staff are Mandarins corps member and staff alumni including Chris Langton (Brass Music Caption Head), Taylor Sabado (Woodwinds Music Caption Head), Marshall Jones (Visual Caption Head), and instructors Alex Hawvichorst, Casey Smith, EJ Charles Jesusalberto Muniz, Nico Peruzzi, Ryan Lee, Bryan Harmsen, and Dan Fong.
Immortal Winds is competing in the NCBA (Northern California Band Association) shows, this winter season. Their production, Of Burning and Balance features music from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Princess Monolake, and more.
